1. Who we are

LK MARKETING (PVT) LTD is a company registered in Sri Lanka, operating from Beralapanathara Road, Kubokka, Mathara. We manufacture and distribute Ceylon spices under the Yuwe Serendib brand. We are the data controller for the information described in this policy.

2. What we collect

We collect only what we need to sell and deliver spices to you.

• ·Contact and delivery details — your name, email address, telephone number, and the delivery and billing addresses you give us at checkout.
• ·Order information — the products you buy, order value, order history and delivery status.
• ·Account information — if you create an account, your email address and an encrypted password, plus any addresses you choose to save.
• ·Messages you send us — the content of WhatsApp messages, emails and enquiry forms, so we can answer them and keep a record of what was agreed.
• ·Technical information — basic information your browser provides, such as device type and pages visited, used to keep the site working and to understand which products people look at.

We do not collect or store your full card number, CVV or banking credentials at any point. Payment details are entered on Shopify’s secure checkout and handled by them and their payment providers.

3. Why we use it

• ·To process and deliver your order, and to contact you about it.
• ·To handle returns, replacements, refunds and quality complaints.
• ·To answer questions you send us by WhatsApp, email or telephone.
• ·To keep the accounting and tax records Sri Lankan law requires us to keep.
• ·To send you offers and harvest news — only if you have opted in, and you can opt out at any time.
• ·To detect and prevent fraud, and to keep the website secure.

4. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with the parties needed to complete your order:

• ·Shopify — provides our online store and checkout, and processes payment information on our behalf.
• ·Courier and delivery partners — receive your name, delivery address and telephone number so they can deliver your parcel.
• ·Payment providers — receive the payment details you enter at checkout in order to take payment.
• ·Professional advisers and authorities — where we are required by Sri Lankan law to disclose information, for example to tax or regulatory authorities.

Some of these providers store data on servers outside Sri Lanka. Where that happens, we use established service providers who apply recognised security standards to protect your information in transit and at rest.

5. How long we keep it

We keep order and transaction records for as long as Sri Lankan tax and company law requires. Account details are kept until you ask us to close your account. Marketing contact details are kept until you unsubscribe. Enquiry messages are kept only as long as needed to resolve the matter and keep a reasonable record of it.

6. Your rights

Under the Personal Data Protection Act No. 9 of 2022, you may ask us to:

• ·Tell you what personal data we hold about you, and give you a copy of it.
• ·Correct information that is wrong or out of date.
• ·Delete your personal data, where we are not legally required to keep it.
• ·Stop using your data for marketing, at any time.
• ·Withdraw consent you previously gave, without affecting anything done before you withdrew it.

To make a request, contact us using the details below. We may ask you to confirm your identity before we act, so that we do not disclose your information to someone else.

7. Cookies

Our website uses cookies and similar browser storage to keep your shopping bag between visits, to keep you signed in, and to remember preferences such as saved items. Some are set by Shopify to operate the checkout securely. You can clear or block cookies in your browser, but parts of the site — particularly the bag and checkout — may then stop working.

8. Children

Our store is not intended for children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us their information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our business or the law changes. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised. Material changes will be highlighted on the website.
